Parents At Work was founded in 2007 by HR and Career Coaching Social Entrepreneur, Emma Walsh to support not only mums and dads but also their organisations to better manage the challenges of juggling work and family life.
Parents At Work has helped thousands of working Mums and Dads and their families navigate their career, parenting and wellbeing. Emma is a mum of three (twin boys now 11 and a her daughter now 7). She lives in Sydney, Australia and is an author, international speaker and advocate campaigner on improving parental leave and flexible work rights for working parents. She consultants to organisations on how to create family friendly workplaces.
Emma has been shortlisted for the Telstra Business Woman of the Year and has been recognised and awarded for her business achievements including:

Kiri’s education in psychology and experience in HR has led her to this role supporting organisations and individuals from an array of sectors to work on strategies that optimise potential and talent. She is passionate about career engagement and bringing about societal change towards true family friendly workplace culture.
Fiona brings experience working across D&I, talent attraction, employee engagement and HR operations as well as 10 years of working with corporate Australia to develop family friendly programs and workplaces. Fiona is passionate about creating work environments where everyone can thrive and feel safe to be themselves.
Nicki is passionate about living a connected life and supporting others on their journey towards wellbeing. With a background in copywriting, marketing and web design, Nicki is our special events connector, blog writer, content developer, digital marketing expert and all-round marketing guru.
An experienced career and leadership coach, Lisa has over 15 years’ experience leading and coaching individuals and teams through change often working in dynamic and fast paced environments across an array of sectors.
Sarah is specialises in Executive Coaching and Leadership Development with more than 20 years’ business experience across Europe and Australia. Sarah has worked across a number of private and public sector organisations in industries including: investment and retail banking, finance, insurance, telecommunications, professional services, media and government in both the UK and Australia.
Caterina is an experienced consultant, facilitator and executive coach with a background of successfully embedding performance, culture and change solutions across multi layered entities. Caterina’s passion lies within helping to harness motivational drivers, increase self-awareness and optimise sustainable performance.
Using both his corporate experience, commercial understanding and skills in counselling and psychology, Sam specialises in helping working parents and other professionals manage the intersection between their personal and professional life, free up time to work more effectively and address anxiety and stress issues common with new and experienced parents.
Jen North is a highly skilled Executive Coach, Career Management and Human Resources Practitioner. With more than 20 years of experience working in Australia, Hong Kong and the UK in senior management and executive positions, Jen brings first-hand knowledge and understanding of what it takes to manage a corporate career whilst raising a family and what it takes to survive and thrive.
Emelie is studying a Bachelor of Arts (Media and Communications) at the University of Sydney, majoring in Marketing and English. Emelie is working with the Parents At Work team as she enhances her natural marketing skills and gains practical experience within communications, marketing and social media.
As an experienced coach, Sally has close to 20-years' experience in learning and leadership development having worked in large organisations in Sydney, London and is now based in Perth. With qualifications in Positive Psychology, she is passionate about helping people take a holistic view to realise their potential and increase their well-being.
Ruth is a Business Psychologist with more than 20 years' experience in the field of Executive Coaching, Leadership Development and Facilitation. Based in the UK, Ruth is focused on enabling individuals and teams to fulfil their potential. She helps people to understand themselves, manage their confidence and belief, and focus on their ambitions. Ruth understands what it's like to manage a busy career whilst raising a family!
Dana's experience in working with human transformation and potential is significant, as an accomplished learner, leadership development facilitator and executive coach. Her intuitive insights and empathy enable her to build powerful coaching relationships. Based in Melbourne, Dana is a passionate advocate of working parents and supporting them through parental leave transitions.
Georgia is studying a Bachelor of Business at UTS, majoring in Management and Law. Georgia helps supports the client service and marketing functions of Parents At Work while gaining experience and learning practical skills in podcast creation, data processing, online system editing, and customer services.
Loretta is an expert in communications, copywriting and website design and develops collateral and communications for Parents At Work. With three young kids, Loretta is living the juggle of work/life integration and is an avid supporter of working parents.
